 AOCB offers independent certification and auditing services across the full certification lifecycle, supporting organisations in achieving compliance, confidence, and continuous improvement. 

 

Certification of ISO Standards

AOCB delivers independent and impartial certification services for management systems against internationally recognised ISO standards, including:

  • ISO/IEC 27001 – Information Security Management Systems


  • ISO/IEC 42001 – Artificial Intelligence Management Systems
     

Certification activities cover the full certification lifecycle, including:

  • Application and contract review
  • Audit planning
  • Initial Audit, Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits
  • Certification decision 
  • Surveillance audits 
  • Recertification audits
     

All certification decisions are based on objective evidence and independent technical review.

Gap Analysis (Pre-Assessment)

AOCB offers gap analysis / pre-assessment services to help organisations understand their current level of alignment with selected ISO standards.

These activities:

  • Are non-certification assessments
  • Do not include consultancy or system design
  • Focus on identifying gaps and readiness levels
  • Do not compromise the impartiality of subsequent certification activities
     

Gap analysis services are conducted separately from certification audits and follow defined safeguards to maintain independence.


Training and Awareness

AOCB provides training and awareness programmes related to international standards, management systems, and audit principles.

Training services:


  • They are generic and educational in nature
  • Do not provide implementation consultancy
  • Are delivered independently of certification activities
  • Support competence development and standard awareness
     

Examples include:

  • ISO standards awareness training
  • Auditor training
  • Management system fundamentals
  • Executive and board-level briefings

Impartiality

AOCB is committed to performing certification activities in an independent, objective, and impartial manner. We recognise that impartiality is essential to maintaining trust in certification and to ensuring credible and reliable outcomes.

To safeguard impartiality, AOCB:

  • Identifies, analyses, and manages risks related to conflicts of interest.
     
  • Maintains a governance structure that separates auditing activities from certification decision-making.
     
  • Ensures that certification decisions are based solely on objective evidence and technical review.
     
  • Operates an independent Impartiality Committee to oversee and monitor risks to impartiality.
     
  • Prohibits any commercial, financial, or other pressures from influencing audit or certification outcomes.
     

AOCB does not provide consultancy services related to the management systems it certifies, ensuring full compliance with international certification requirements.
